I hate his flop bet, maybe this is faulty logic, but I feel that it is cheaper to reraise his sorry bet here and find out where you stand as opposed to dealing with more difficult spots on later streets.

A 1/3 probe bet on the turn and he goes away?
As played if you called the river bet I'd assume he's got a smaller pair and you are good.

But without a read maybe all of the above is BS....

I think going to 360 on the flop and following through with the agression from pf in this spot is better than a 400 call on the river (although I think you are probably ahead in both spots) because it takes away his abiltiy to spike a 3rd 8 or T on the turn or river (which is what his hand looks like it could be to me the times you are behind)

i think you played the hand fine. i would call river.

a King would usually CR the flop so i think you are good enough to call.

You're almost never folding out better hands while still giving him a chance to bluff/get value from worse hands. It's not a draw heavy board, no reason to raise.

OP, looks good if you called.

i really really hate raising this flop, youre never folding out a king and he folds all of his worse hands. we cant worry about the 5ish outer hes probably drawing to when it kinda kills our value and turns our hand into a bluff.

id probably call the river.

(OP, fwiw i rr more pf usually)

I would usually plan to CR the flop too if I had a K, but my experience recently suggests that I'm in the minority by far. I'm pretty certain he hit that flop and very likely has a K.

I dislike raising flop too b/c you're not mucking weaker hands. As played I am calling the riv as I think you're ahead enough of the time, especially when he checks the turn.
