Re: FTP 30$ Rebuy: btn vs bb - akward stack sizes
[ QUOTE ]
What is our plan after calling preflop? It always seems that I give chips away in those situations. If the flop comes dry, do we bet out / check-raise? Or are we looking to hit the flop and if not just check-fold? [/ QUOTE ] I usually will bet out on a flop and slowdown if faced with resistence and I have not improved. I will bet if I have hit a hand as well. Check/raising is also a viable option, but I usually only do this if I have a hand because villian will most likely be pot committed to call a c/r. |

There is nothing wrong at all with a push all in here. You are OOP and a J or K is gonna miss most of the time. It's the bubble. There is now 5600 in the pot. Seems like a nice spot to increase your stack by more than 20%.

Call. I have been calling more in the blinds because it allows you to trap with AA and KK from the blinds. Shania, etc. [/ QUOTE ] Honestly I dont feel meta should be very relevant close to ever here. And FWIW I will almost never flatcall AA or KK here. I would rather be unexploiatble by RR both hands that by just Calling with both. |

So, a call out of the blinds should be kinda scary to a LP raiser. |
