Default Lots of outs + position on the turn with 2 loose players

3 limpers, I raise K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], limpers + BB call.

Flop is JT8 rainbow with a single diamond.

Checked to me and I bet for value. 2 callers. One is really loose/passive the other is someone goofing around with lots of random aggression, floating, etc.

Turn is a non-diamond air-ball. Checked to me and I check behind.

River pairs the turn, loose/passive checks, goofing quickly bets, I cry and fold...

I see no reason to do anything else anywhere. PF and flop are obvious, turn a little less so (if they both peel the flop with no pair and no draw you might find a second barrel). On the river, you have Khigh and the LP's presence probably protects the pot so good fold.

Fnord,

you really can't bet the turn. river is a possible call w/ Kinghigh HU with the goofass. not in the protected pot with the calling station, though.

keep your chin up. things'll turn around.

Why do you think so? I think you have 9-10 outs here b/c you can't count your two overs for more than, say, 1-2 outs on that board. Chance that you have the best hand right there is kinda' meh. I think you need the free card more than you need to bet.

Most of the time I bet the turn here, and I started to write something advising that, but the board is just a tad too coordinated to make it a certainty.

I think this is still a marginal bet situation, since you might get rid of a better hand, there are a couple reasonable hands that pay off that you can still beat unimproved, and you've got at least 8 outs to the nuts that will bail you out ocassionally when you're behind. You've controlled the hand thus far, betting the turn represents pretty decent strength. Based on reads, firing again on the river may win you the pot enough of the time to make it +EV.

This is by no means a certainty, but unless I'm getting called down an unusually high amount of the time, I think I'm taking a stab at betting here.
