Am I just a dumb noob or did Stars misjudge this hand??

OK, I figure i'm a dumb noob, but I put my hand in the hand converter and it says I won, which I though I should have. The raw HH is below the converted one which says I had trip 8's. I had 8's full of kings did I not??

Pot Limit Omaha is usually played where you HAVE to use TWO and ONLY TWO cards from your own 4 card hand, coupled with THREE and ONLY THREE common cards that come out on the flop+turn+river.

So your opponents best hand is 888JJ and yours is 888AK. His full house beats your set.

if you try to use the A and K from your hand, you can only take 3 from the board

so you can choose either AK + K88 = two pair
or AK+888 = trip 8's

since trips 8's beats two pair, you automatically go w/ that one.

Thanks guys, didn't realize you HAD to use two cards. Figured you could use only 1 card such as in Holdem.
