Default semideep, middle set facing flopraise

I've been very active on this table, but mostly because the deck is slapping me square in the face.

Villain is new to me, but seems to have a clue and knew who Ribbo was so is probably a 2p2er-- feel free to say who you are if you are reading this and want to.

Pot Limit Omaha Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $184.75
jbird: $445.90
CO: $52.50
Button: $116.60
SB: $268.70
BB: $63.45

Pre-flop: (6 players) jbird is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, jbird raises to $7, 2 folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($16, 2 players)
SB checks, jbird bets $10, SB raises to $42

a fairly common spot, and a situation where i usually fold - will be interested to see what the general concensus is on the hand

I'd flat call this and raise most turn bets depending on turn card.

Some opponents raise with AQ there

No way I'd fold this. This is most likely AQ, then KJT, then AA. I'd probably just reraise the flop although with the stack sizes, flat-calling and raising the turn wouldn't be bad either.

flat call and re-eval turn. Very rarely does villain show up with AAxx here. I think best line may be to flat call and a repot on a safe turn. Question is, what is a safe turn here, the board is drawy and your read on villain doesnt narrow his range down much. Any thoughts as to his range?

I just 3 bet the flop here most of the time; if he's already put $42 in here, he's likely going to put the rest in on the flop unless his hand is 22xx or AQxx in which case he may find a fold if he's a good player. But I think a draw is far more likely; I'd rank KJT ahead of AQ and AA.

I'd call, trap, and shove over on the turn

IMO you're not nearly deep enough to get away from middle set here - especially if you've been active

hands i think are included in his range and our % to win hand

2 wraps: KJ10x + 2345 (70%)
1 set: AAxx nonsuited (10%)
top two: AQxx (possibly w/ a gut shot) (70%)

*i dont think he has a hand like 22xx because i dont think he is calling out of the SB w/ any of those hands.

personally i think i go ahead and repot the flop b.c. if he is drawing i dont think he is going to fold after putting in the 42. (but i am a donkament player, so what do i know). As far as calling and reevaluating on turn-- (K J 10 or even and A ) and he pots, we are forced to fold. or what if he pots a 3 4 5 turn?? i think we are making it to hard on ourselves. Plus if we get a good turn and he has a wrap, he may be more likely to fold with only one card to come. Anyways, im semi-new to omaha so plz let me know if there is any flaws to my thinking.
