I'd like to try one of those Wine of the Month or Chocolate of the Month gifts on someone sometime. That way they could keep enjoying the gift all year and enjoy anticipating the next one coming up. Tricky part would be finding something that can't be seen as mostly giving it to yourself, if you're likely to be sharing it. So I guess it would have to be something clearly for the femme alone -- hmmm. Any ideas along those lines, ladies?

Maybe not terribly original but flowers by the month.

This is also a very good gift site, imo.

Serious questions:
What are the primary things the men in your lives can do to improve the relationship as a whole?
What are the primary things the men no longer in your lives could have done to improve the relationship as a whole?

In general, what do we regularly do to screw things up?

Still waiting on some good stuff here...

I've given her £100 (about $200) and a lift into the nearest main town shopping area tomorrow, where she can shop on her own (no me+kids to consider) for as long as she wants. She's happy.

She's getting a day at a spa too.

this is my line usually. i may also pick up a couple items of significant meaning... ie something she specifically said she wanted but didnt really qualify as a gift on its own...

wonder how the ladies rate this.

And dude, as far as asking how cute you are, that is a total turn-off. Any guy who asks how cute he is isn't cute at all. He's either gay or so completely narcissistic that he's not worth dealing with. Frigging drama queen. Don't think about how cute you are. That's wacked. You'll never get into a good, healthy relationship with that kind of attitude. Just lay back, be you, relax. Good things come to people who don't try so hard.

Haha, I love this. I agree, guys asking how cute they are is a turn-off. I'm seeing a lot more of this and wondering what is going on with people that are this narcissistic and insecure. I don't really get it.

Awesome post, Felicia.

there are guys out there who ask girls "how cute am I?"

First of all, if I'm anything, it sure as hell ain't "cute." Devastatingly handsome, I'll buy...ugly as a toad, okay...but cute? Cute is for puppies. Not men.
