I usually post in a german forum, but I think 2+2 is the best place to be and so i am going to post here from now on.
Hope you cand help me with some hands I played the last days.

1.)
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed)

Hero ($33.54)
UTG ($31.25)
MP ($28.60)
Button ($8.55)
SB ($20)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, UTG calls $2.

Welcome. Try to post just 1 hand next time, it generates more discussion and is easier to read.

Also, posting any relevant reads (even small ones) is better than nothing.

1) If you call the flop, there will be just a pot-sized bet left on the turn. You don't want him to take a free card with a draw, and I don't think I could fold on a blank turn since a pair of Q's, or a draw may still bet the turn. I think you're ahead often here, and sometimes he has a set (you beat anything else, he's not likely to have Q9). So I would go all-in.

2) I think you can fold this. Unlikely hand 1, it is much less likely that he is semibluffing here. Looks like he has two pair or better, or AK.

3) Just call. I don't think you can get him off of a pair. He will feel committed, and doesn't have much money behind. You have odds to call against most of his hands. If he checks the river though, I may bluff.

hand 1 shove

hand 2 cbet much larger-at least 2$. I think you can fold turn, but IMO calling isn't all that bad.

hand 3 call-you're getting a good enough price and hes not folding any overpairs here.

I agree with Isura except that I'd c-bet pot on the flop in hand 2, which would probably result in the turn being a call IMO.

Thanks for your thoughts.
Next time I will only post one hand per thread.

So here is how I played the Hands.

1.)
I thought im often enough good in this spot so I shoved.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed)

Hero ($33.54)
UTG ($31.25)
MP ($28.60)
Button ($8.55)
SB ($20)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, UTG calls $2.

Flop: ($6.10) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $10</font>, Hero raises $26.04 (All-In), UTG calls $18.25 (All-In).

Turn: ($64.89) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 2 all-in)</font>

River: ($64.89) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 2 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $64.89

Results in white below: <font color="#000000">
Hero has Ad Ac (full house, aces full of queens).
UTG has Qh Qc (four of a kind, queens).
Outcome: UTG wins $62.60. Hero wins $2.29. </font>

2.)
I dont believe he would push with the flush and put him on a weaker ace. Little bit optimistic maybe, and I dont think I would play it the same way next time.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed)

BB ($18.80)
Hero ($25.30)
Button ($15.51)
SB ($32.35)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1</font>, Button calls $1, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($2.35) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1.25</font>, Button calls $1.25.

Turn: ($4.85) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3</font>, Button raises $13.26 (All-In), Hero calls $10.26.

River: ($31.37) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $31.37

Results in white below: <font color="#000000">
Hero has Ah Jc (two pair, aces and threes).
Button has Ad Th (two pair, aces and threes).
Outcome: Hero wins $31.37. </font>

3.)
I think you guys are right and this should be a call.
I sensed weakness out of his 1/3 Pot bet at this point.
I had 2 overcards to the board and minimum 1 should be live, + the NFD.
I thought I had enough fold equity, so i pushed in this spot. Not too smart maybe because of him feeling committed at this point.
Next time i guess it would be better to call and fold to a blank river.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed)

Hero ($23.55)
CO ($38.05)
Button ($12.55)
SB ($24)
BB ($1.80)
UTG ($31.80)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, BB calls $1.55 (All-In), UTG calls $2.

Flop: ($7.90) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players, 1 all-in)</font>
UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, UTG calls $4.

Turn: ($15.90) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players, 1 all-in)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $5</font>, Hero raises $16.55 (All-In), UTG calls $11.55.

River: ($49) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players, 2 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $49

Results in white below: <font color="#000000">
BB has Jh Jd (two pair, jacks and twos).
UTG has 9c Ac (two pair, nines and twos).
Hero has As Kc (one pair, twos).
Outcome: UTG wins $43.50. BB wins $5.50. </font>

Hand 1: I would reraise a little more to cut down his implied odds for calling with a small pp. The way played I shove, if you hit a set well ... [censored] happens.

Hand 2: Unless I know villain is some crazy maniac I fold (a Baluga isn`t it ?)

Hand 3: I don`t mind checking behind in position on that flop and 2 players in the hand. The way you played it I just call the turn and hope to hit my spade on the river.

hand 2: dont play AJ utg...especially for a raise

[/ QUOTE ]

Raising here is perfectly fine, a range of AJo + and A8s + UTG is quite typical.
