Default houston tx

i am traveling to houston and wanted to get some live cards in, would appreciate any info on any card rooms - or if none available, where ppl play that is close by, thanks

nope. closest legal place is lake charles, LA, 2 hours east. 5/5nl is the biggest they run too, but its soft as hell.

Isle of Capri has some good games running in Lake Charles; not very far from Houston and definitely worth playing in. They run, I believe, a $15,000 guaranteed tourney ($110 buy-in with $100 rebuys) that's usually ridiculously soft.

John you wont find any legal rooms in the south that spread lhe high enough for you outside of Tunica, which a lengthy drive from Houston.

the isle of debri is the biggest POS... that place is nothing but oxygen tanks and lotto winner wanna bes...

legal wise... there are many well run home games that play 1/2NLHE or 2/5NLHE... LHE good luck.
