UB does not care about their players. We found that out six months ago.

When people use to refer to "The Big 4" UB was one of them. They have had quite a demise from their poor management and support. While other rooms had explosive growth UB went nowhere. Paradise did the same thing.

From a business standpoint what they are doing makes perfect sense. The breakeven regulars are not the guys paying the most rake for UB - the ocean of fish pays the most rake.

[/ QUOTE ]

I played 15k hands last week. There isn't a fish alive on that site that did this.

[ QUOTE ]
so the fish congregate there and trade money. As this is going on not only does UB increase the # of raked hands, it also increases the expected rake per hand. This situation should even out as soon as the BBJ tables become so fishy that it is +EV for a good player to play in these games at the higher rake level.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think that you understand this. There is no way to beat the games. Some fish will go broke quickly, some may take a week or two, but nevertheless, all of them will eventually go broke. I suppose that a very good player could theoretically show a profit, but I did prove that 4 bb/100 (at least somewhere in the neighborhood of that at least) is taken off of the table from the additional bbj rake.

johnny,

The fish love them and so do UB. If you think UB is going to listen to a handful of ssnl grinders complaining because they can't turn a profit anymore you are seriously mistaken. I just can't imagine these BBJ tables will do anything but improve UB's bottom line.

Ok, fine, prove me wrong. Email them and prove it to me.

You're trying to appeal to the intellect of a company where insiders got caught cheating high limit games. Quit banging your head against the wall and go play somewhere else.

Fish like jackpots. I'd imagine traffic has increased since UB put them in.

And I would guess most of them don't know of or even get rakeback.

Ok, fine, I get it. You guys all have a very pessimistic view of getting this thing pushed through. However, who is to say that ftp or stars isn't next?? BBJ tables are bad for poker due to the fact that money flows in a card room in a pyramid. Sharks at the micros are often fish at small stakes, sharks at the small stakes are fish at the mid stakes and so on all the way up to the nosebleeds. There are now two sites that are beatable at the micro stakes that are considered a large site. This is something that affects all of you guys.

History has shown that a person who is determined to succeed will often do so despite the well wishes of naysayers. So instead of saying that this will accomplish nothing, just humor me and take the time that it would have made to make a post and send them a [censored] email please.
