[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Assani, As others have pointed out your analogy is really flawed. I said earlier I would bet you at 24.5. Do you accept? [/ QUOTE ] Please stop avoiding my question. I am willing to make a bet perhaps, but please answer my question: How many points do you think Durant will average this year? [/ QUOTE ] 24.5 [/ QUOTE ] If I trusted your sencerity, I would continue this conversation. I have no desire to talk to someone who I think is a liar though. [/ QUOTE ] Assani you asked a ridiculous question. You asked more or less "What is the minimum you will bet on" considering there is a decently large gap between 26.5 and what I think the answer is it would be retarded of me to close off anything in between 26.5 and my true o/u. Note the above is all working under the assumption I was lying when I said 24.5. |

i don't see a single position the suns are better at than the C's. most people will say nash at pg is better than rondo but i disagree because of defense and athleticism.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I think Gilbert is an annoying ass. The day he stops thinking like this will be the day Washington finally does something. [/ QUOTE ] You must be out yo got-damn mind. [/ QUOTE ]why? He's all talk. Back it up Gilbert. Quit sounding like a little girl all the time. "Oh they disrespected me, I'mma score 90 on them" stfu gilbert. [/ QUOTE ] http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2006122221 Arenas capped a 54-point night by banking in a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 30.7 seconds left in overtime and the Wizards beat the Suns 144-139. Arenas, admittedly carrying a grudge after being cut from the U.S. team for this year's world championships, pounded his chest and appeared to stare into the stands at Jerry Colangelo several times after making big plays. Colangelo, the Suns' chairman and ex-owner, is the head of USA Basketball. He also stared down D'Antoni after sinking a 37-footer at the first-quarter buzzer. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2007011527 Arenas took the ensuing inbounds pass and ran the clock down until he launched the game-winner over Deron Williams. "I felt like I was in a win-win situation, go to OT or make the shot," Arenas said. "I was on fire the last three minutes of the game so there was no point of going in and trying to create two points. Once I felt the ball come out of my hands, I knew it was going in. It had great arc and it was lined up with the rim, so I started celebrating pre-make. I put my hands up because I knew the game was over." Williams said he knew what was coming but could do nothing to stop Arenas. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2005050404 Gilbert Arenas bailed out the Washington Wizards after they'd blown a 22-point lead and were ready to collapse. That's what stars do. Now Arenas and his team are one victory away from the second round of the NBA playoffs for the first time in 23 years. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2005050627 In Game 5, he made the game-winning shot. In Game 6, he made the game-altering block. While there are plenty of reasons why the Washington Wizards are headed to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in 23 years, let there be no mistake: Gilbert Arenas is the man who led them there. The Wizards went 2-11 after Gilbert got hurt last year. Before the injuries hit him and Caron, the Wizards were the #2 seed in the East, and they had just beaten the #1 seed Detroit in back-to-back games. Gilbert averaged 28.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.9 steals last year last year. Is that not "backing it up" for you? |

Re: The Official NBA Regular Season 07-08 Thread
Assani's Early Power Rankings:
1. SA 2. Dallas 3. Phoenix 4. Utah 5. Chicago 6. Houston 7. Cleveland 8. Boston 9. Washington 10. Denver 11. Golden State 12. Detroit 13. Orlando 14. Toronto 15. LA Lakers 16. New Jersey 17. Charlotte 18. New Orleans 19. Miami 20. Memphis 21. New York 22. Philly 23. Atlanta 24. LA Clippers 25. Sacramento 26. Milwaukee 27. Portland 28. Indiana 29. Seattle 30. Minnesota I just did all of these off the top of my head, so I'm sure theres some that I'll want to change as you all critisize. Also, think of my rankings as my odds for them to advance far in the playoffs. For example, I would probably bet that Indy would finish ahead of several of the teams listed above them, but I think that the teams above them have more upside and a better shot at actually doing something noteworthy this year. |

But obviously you're just out to get a good price on the bet instead of having a friendly bet that ACCURATELY reflects our conflicting views. |
