(ladybugs are actually voracious predators... you may go to sleep and in the morning all that will be left of you is your bone white skeleton covered with fat and full little red ladybugs)

Is it starting to get cold where you're at? Have you already had the 1st frost?

They will huddle up for warmth for the winter. I've seen them freeze in one big clump, thaw out and be alive the next spring.
