Re: Beat: my knees
idk if you arent used to running shin splints can set in fast or if you start take a break and start again they happen quickly. You just gotta wait for them to go away, stay inside and chill for a lil

shin splints is no big deal. i dont see how you would get them that quickly tho, its usually from continuous running/jumping [/ QUOTE ] yeah i have been lazy as [censored] this summer. played a little bball at the bball at the beginning of the summer with no problem. but a few weeks ago i played a game of ball and i got this problem. my knees were sore for like 3 days and i didnt do anything that was high impact til i played football again a few days ago. doesnt really seem like shin splints to me. |

Re: Beat: my knees
i got the osgood - schlatter disease like 4-5 years ago from playing a lot of sports. It hurt a lot at first (although not as much as you are descriving), especially when I was running. I kept playing soccer and tennis though and it never went away. It still hurts today but I've gotten so used to it. The biggest side effect is probably that I now have a bump below my knee cap that sticks out quite a lot (maybe a bit less than an inch). When I sit down, it almost looks like I have two knees on both legs.
