Hand 1: I c/r the flop, given that you didn't I c/r the turn.

Hand 2: Depends on the opponent but as a default I bet the river for value.

Hand 1 makes me cry

cap preflop or c/r the flop. Against a weak TAG you can call preflop and donk flop because they will raise your donk with a wide range. I absolutely hate the line Hero took.

Hand 2

There is value in a river bet against quite a few opponents. I will often be considering checking tho as this is such a horrible river card.

Hand 1, you need to check-raise somewhere, probably the flop since villain is guaranteed to bet. Only problem with that is that he might fold, but with QQ he will call the c/r and even with KQ. If not a c/r on the flop, I would go for it on the turn.

Hand 2, since villain did not donk the river, he probably doesn't have a Ten and likely has two pair or some worse hand so I'd bet.

Check raise the flop in hand 1. When you somewhat under-represent you hand pre-flop (although I like just calling here) you hope to get more action that you should on a flop like this. He probably doesn't put you on AK, but if you just call he will probably put you on a weaker A and might shut down. Just raise and hope he thinks you're trying to mess with him (I would also bluff raise this flop with something like KQo so I like to do this for balance - not that it matters at 0.5/1 though.)

Hand 2 is close for me. On one hand it's likely you're ahead when he checks the river, but on the other hand he might not even call now with a pair. I think you played it fine.

I should have C/R the first hand on the flop agreed, but can i let a FD check through on the turn?

HOw is that value when every possible draw has come in on the river? Do i call the 3bet?

Betting on on the turn is fine IMO. But for the love of god. cap preflop or c/r the flop. You are pissing away money here.

You are overestimating fishes hand reading abilities. I dont think there is much value in a bet against a good hand reader. But against a fish you will get called by all pairs and even A high.

Folding to a 3-bet depends on the player. But as a default you can fold.

if villain is reasonable he never has a flush draw that he is checking through here

AsXs is never checking through top pair, and you have the Ks

he would have to 3betting your UTG raise with QsJs or somesuch to have a flush draw here

edit: and QsJs/TsJs will probably bet again anyways after picking up extra outs
