Default 10-20NLH at the Commercino.

10-20 NLH. The game is playing pretty loose preflop with lots of calling. Most of the players play ok to good postflop.

I limp UTG with 56d and see a flop 6 ways. The flop is Q94 w/two diamonds. I bet out 120 and get raised by the player on my left. I call the 240 and the turn card is a black duece. I check, he fires out 450 and i fold. Any and all comments are appreciated.

thx, Tony

post hands with relevent info.
ie: reads on players, stack sizes, table image.
otherwise no use.

however one general rule to think about is that its generally not a good idea to start building up the pot out of position with a crappy draw.

had you flopped something like an open-ended str8 flush draw or a pair and nut flush draw and you don't mind playing a big pot then you can lead the flop hoping to get raised so you can push and have some folding equity, or not mind a call.
however the way you played the hand was pretty dismal.

Don't lead into 6 guys with crap draws, and don't flat call raises with them either. Like riverboatking suggested, lead with strong/double draws and/or made hands.

Generally don't bluff unless there is a serious chance that the bluff will work. You're bluffing six guys in Los Angeles. BAD IDEA.

Leading into one or two people with weaker draws should be fine. Then there is a chance everyone will fold.

heehaw,

I'm not trying to be a prick, but just because you have the funds to play in higher stakes games doesn't mean that you are a higher stakes player. You need to drop down considerably to like 1/2 blinds, and read and post in the Medium Stakes or Small Stakes forums. The problems in the hand you give are regarding fundamentals.
