39% ROI over 13k SNGs is pretty sick if you're >8 tabling them

if not, then obviously you're a winning player, but probably not all that good

<- 147% ROI over 20 20+2 SNGs = PRO

In the other BBV thread that came up about here a while back there were defenses of her with "wow look at the ROI- she must know what she says."

I think much of the ripping comes based on the claims to be the best/among the best, because she doesnt even play many of the games herself that she is likely coaching for.
There is much more smoke than fire to her claims.

Edited to take out the part where I said I thought it was revealed she played a lot of multitable sngs- because I could be mistaken on that memory so won't make it a point right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't claim to be the best among the best. I have the highest ROI among Low-Limit SNG players that I've seen, and I'm definitely a top notch player, and a successful teacher, but I'm not amongst the top elite online.

are there pics of her?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry no pics. If I ever do post any, they will be seen on p5s first.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok can you go do that now?

Its a business decision. I would guess your coaching requests would triple.

Grinding $20 sngs for a living.. BRAG!!!

I play sngs and real job>>>>>>>>>>>&gt ;>>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>>>>>>>>&gt ;>>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>>>>>> grinding $20 sngs especially given the fact she is awful.

You really think I'm awful pudge?

Tell ya what, go find someone else with a 39% ROI over 11,000 SNGs, at any level. Until you do, you have no basis for an argument. It's possible I made a mistake or two in the SNG we reviewed together, but your analysis had mistakes in it too. So if you want to call me imperfect, have a blast, but awful? LOL.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is that mostly 1/2 table sngs?

[/ QUOTE ]

That is for single table SNGs only, mostly played on UB.

I'm just curious to know if you plan to start playing more than 1 table at a time.

[/ QUOTE ]

I currently four-table on Stars or Full Tilt, but three-table on UB when I play. I'm somewhat new (six months) to playing more than two at a time. Most of the stats you probably are looking at are from when I am teaching, and I only play (usually) one-table when I'm teaching.

Assuming a 10 player SNG with 5:3:2 payout structure. The expected variance in payout would be:-

----------1st place-------------2nd place------------3rd place
1200 * ( [(5*5) * (0.9*0.1)] + [(3*3) * (0.9*0.1)] + [(2*2)* 0.9*0.1)]) = 4104 (buyins^2)

So the SD would be ~64 buyins. Or and ROI of about 5%.

She's definitely a winning player at $15 SNG's. Whether that means she's any good at poker is another matter.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't understand what you're saying here. The SD is 64 buyins over what? Do you mean per 1200 SNGs? I play the $22 turbos and my sd is $19 for a SNG (around the same for most sngers at this level), so (if the sngs are independent) if groups of 1200 sng results were compared their sd over would be 19 * root(1200)= $658 = around 30 buyins

\stats in BBV

Does anyone know if she plays turbos or regulars? FWIW 12-tabling $22 SNGs for just 15% ROI = $66 per hour... not balla but still more than the standard 9-5 fare im guessing.

Jenn, I just don't understand how you can make claims that you have over 11k sngs at 39% roi and give no proof that this is actually true.

also just out of curiosity, why haven't you moved up to the higher level sngs yet?

Jenn do you have PT screenshots of your stats? This would be much better proof than sharkscope (provided your db is complete).

Jenn,

What none of us understand is why you don't play higher. If you're decent you'd make way more playing the 60s.

Since you spend you time playing against opponents who have no clue how to play optimally, we assume you're not very skilled. The other option is to accept that you play low stakes for some other reason and you don't care about maximizing your return on your time. That just doesn't make sense to someone with a poker mindset.
