Default minraises preflop

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $10.65
BB: $11.85
UTG: $10.65
MP: $9.85
CO: $4.05
BTN: $7.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
3 folds, BTN calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.50, BB raises to $0.90

How do you treat such minraises preflop against an unknown?

I wouldn't raise KQo from SB with button still in there.

BTW, what did button do? I would still call anything but a RR from button, I just can't stand folding to minraises.

I'm 90% never folding to a minraise. Call, hit the flop, stack him.

I like your pf raise in this spot, actually. You have to punish the button limpers -- how strong can their hand really be? Other than that I am def seeing the flop (essentially what Cody said in the post above).

i used to like that play, until i keep missing flops and having to play OOP just really sucks, because you never get paid off for your hands and always end up in tough decisions, i usually limp right there, but maybe i'm a nit.. . i just don't find myself in many situations where i'm +EV raising from sb unless i have pocket pairs, and even sooted connectors that wouldn't share cards most likely with button or bb
