just another post in agreement that a post every time you ban someone is a really bad idea. it will generate a ton of nitpicking and for OOT mods it would actually be kinda time consuming sometimes.

Agree. As long as the notes are written about it so we know who banned and why, a listing is overkill and will create unnecessary drama.

I was gonna add exiles should be listed along with reasons why, but that's still already done in the oot sticky, isn't it?

I would like to add: Moderators may not delete usernotes.

Is banning a new account that clearly stated he's a previously banned poster - and his last account was a crazyapeshit spammer?

cos I just did that for supernikkas who was c4mg.

in this thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...=0#Post13108921

I think we already covered this, but wasn't 100% sure. Sorry if bad decision, plz reverse and I will flog and debase myself appropriately if I did a bad thing.

I think based on previous discussions that banned posters can come back with new accounts (as long as not 'ban on sight') but they need to behave and be discreet about having already been banned.

If not discreet I think it is on a 'case by case basis'. I also think if ban on sight we can ban 'across forums' but otherwise we pretty much deal with posters within our forums. Reds please correct as needed.

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn
