i tried a $10 rebuy the other day on stars, never played a rebuy tournament before but.. WOW.

its complete chaos lol, people shoving in with Qhigh all over the shop, 5betting pf, open shoving flops, midpair being the nuts etc..

i was pretty card dead and played crap.. but got AK twice and got ai pf, lost 1 to A3/KQ/TT 4way ai, and another to AA/K9. fun times think ill play a little lower next rebuy, throwing $10 away every 5seconds was prolly a little rash

stars rebuys are alot crazier than FT rebuys.

And don't play rebuy tourneys unless you are willing to rebuy and add-on.

I got a really stupid question that I should know the answer to after playing 91k hands of winning poker but I have never cared too much to figure it out as I haven't needed to.

So here it is. What is a good combination of went to SD and won at SD for say someone who plays 18/16/3.3? Mine is 25.9 and 52.9 and I think the 52.9 is a little high. Like I am missing some double barrels or cbets or something yet I don't find anything in my session reviews. It just seems to me that standard is something like 25 and 50. Before NL10 it was 23 went to SD and 49 won at SD.

I guess NL10 got me questioning things as I find I am giving up after cbets more then I used to and why I do not know.

This may help.

Edit: This is not a brag. I feel like I am getting moved off my hands too often lately.

God, what a horrible session. 3k hands, think I lost $5. I was down a few buyins though, so that's decent. But before that I was running insane at 15bb/100 over 7k or so, nice dose of reality tonight

Hey all, just played my first session under my new $500 stake last night, I guess you can say I ran rather well or I was just against a bunch of monkeys at $25 NL last night.. but managed to have basically a 11 buyin upswing in 1900 hands..

Here is also the biggest pot I've ever had at $25 NL on stars, since I don't play much at that limit anyways. Feel free to berate me on how I played the flop set out of position against the bigger stack (i.e., calling short stacks all in instead of raising on flush draw flop, but had a read that this guy loves to raise his big aces to try and protect them at any time) Turns out it is the same exact hand and almost exactly the same # of BB's as my biggest pot I had at $50 NL a week ago! 99 is now my new favorite hand on stars lol.
