nh, he was probably on a flush draw. depending on your read you might want to make a value bet on the end of ~500 or so. if you think he's a caller, the push is fine.

No it is the 2nd best hand possible. I would bet a little more on the turn, and then a small amount on the river, like 500 or so hoping for a push by him. Pushing all in there is not what I would do.

I didnt like the push, but I thought he wouldve picked up on the value bet. I checked it down, i was hoping maybe he would think i was buying it and might call with some mid PP over 5 / below queens.

I would have c/r at some point to build the pot. Not the flop though.

Probably would have c/r the turn to get the pot to a size that makes a shove on the river reasonable.

If you decided to c/c the turn, I think I'd c/r the river. Seems kind of dumb to slow play two streets and over shove the third.

yeah i know.. checking it all the way down really [censored] me out of getting anything out of the river. How would you have played this off the flop? He raised preflop, would you bet into him , or check call? C/R the turn maybe, but i think it may've driven him out.
