NL100 QQ vs 12/5 oop
I only played a shortsession but I was running 21.5/16/7 hands weren't getting to showdown though so I don't know how noticable my image is
villian is on a couple of my tables, and hasn't really tangled with me, and I didn't see anything too interesting from him in hands I wasn't involved in Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 8 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $97.50 BB: $98.00 Hero (UTG): $102.00 UTG+1: $95.50 MP1: $101.15 MP2: $75.55 CO: $97.55 BTN: $178.25 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8 Players) Hero raises to $4.00, 4 folds, BTN raises to $11.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $7.00 Flop: ($23.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN checks Turn: ($23.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN bets $15.00, Hero calls $15.00 River: ($53.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN bets $33.00, Hero calls $33.00 mainly want thoughts on the turn and river |

I like it as played. You can make an arguement for folding river, but I'm not doing it.

I like it as played. You can make an arguement for folding river, but I'm not doing it. [/ QUOTE ] If we assume villain is competent he is never betting Ahi on the river here, since our hand is face up as exactly what we have after our turn call. So if we assign his range as TT+ AQs+ we only beat JJ on the river... Therefore, I think an argument has to be made for folding the river. And if we stick to that range assessment, our play in the hand was pretty good. So yea, we agree the hand was played well, but, I just think as weak as it is, we have to let it go here on the river. To people that liked the river call, and those that are going to post and maybe like the river call, what are you putting him on here to call this river bet? Do you think he bets AQdd/AKdd here on the river often enough, combined with the times he has JJ/QQ for a split that its makes up for teh times TT got there or he has KK/AA? |

Perfect. [/ QUOTE ] Not really. Me thinks that Hero should have bet out on the turn. As played, villain could have started with TT and got there on the river. |

Re: NL100 QQ vs 12/5 oop
i think he could be betting with ace high here. hero checked all three streets, including the turn after a flop check by the villain, making his hand seem undervalued, i like it how its played

Re: NL100 QQ vs 12/5 oop
Am I the only one that plays it the same until the river, where I block for like $20?

Re: NL100 QQ vs 12/5 oop
NH sir! You did an excellent job keeping the pot REALITIVLY small and getting to show down as cheap as possible with a hand that could be beaten but is probably good. Folding here is terribly weak play and I don't like a 20$ blocking bet on the river as he could be raising you and making you fold to wide range of hands that might beat
