Default RESULTS

I folded face up. Villain didn't show but the next day he told me I made a good fold.

Honestly, I didn't think it was even that tough. My thoughts were that it was pretty clear that the preflop raiser had the ace of diamonds which ruled out the villain from shoving Adx. I think that while it's possible he has a set here, it's not at all clear that he would check/cold3bet a set isntead of coldcalling or folding (calling obviously being more likely) so I could discount sets.

Finally, I just came to the conclusion that this was a very tight live game and somebody just put like 7800 into the pot without much thought when there was a decent amount of action to him. Anybody who thinks he w ould have donethis with two pair is just being optimistic. I really thought everybody would say fold but guess not.

I just read this. Was this vs the 'older guy crew' at Foxwoods? If yes, I can kind of understand the fold... but I'd have still autocalled even against the gang that I think you're referring to here.

i'm honestly confused what metagame benefits i'm supposed to reap from this post as the setting (live full ring), the opponent (old tight passive guy), and the situation (me c/r a 1/5 c-bet) aren't exactly going to repeat themselves vs any of you guys. Or is it just supposed to be me advertising that i can fold, because even that was unique to this situation.

This is more than difficult considering you have shown a super-bluff. He can easily have AdQx, blushin to the nuts. You do have outs. I think given the lack of knowledge and outs, you should call for whats left. What did he show?

Call. He can have KdKx or a set and you hit your 2 outer sometimes when behind.
