Default 200NL: 88 on K-high flop, turn decision

6max NL200, sorry no coverter. This wasn't my hand originally.

25/15/1.8 Villain has $331 in the SB, Hero has $200 in the BB with 8h 8c

Folds around, Villain raises to $6, Hero 3bets to $19, Villain calls; (Pot: $38)

flop Kh 4h 2c, Villain checks, Hero bets $32, Villain calls, (Pot: $102 - rake)

Turn 5c, Villain checks, Hero???

Myself and an e-friend are discussing this hand and whether this is a check or a bet on the turn here?

The arguemnt for checking as I see it: Check this turn with the intention of check/folding the river if the card is scary. Anything that I beat would have folded to a flop bet.

Argument for betting as far as I can see it: Bet this turn, punish any drawing hands; a weak king may fold.
