Just thinking out loud here, for the heads-up event (and possibly also the shootout), there's a big disparity in how quickly tables end. Maybe so that people don't need to be waiting at their computer (although that would of course be what Stars wants: you at your computer with Stars opening, playing on the side), a break schedule that incorporates the end of rounds. For heads-up, for instance, either a 5-minute break after Round 1 ends, or a posting that "Round 2 will begin when all Round 1 matches are complete, but not before 17:00 ET." (two hours after the event start)

-1 turbo. A lot of players play strictly turbo sit and gos, etc. PokerStars has every other game, should have a Turbo.

-More standard freeze out NLHE. I know the point of the WCOOOP is to have all types of games, but like 85% of people play NLHE. This year there are 3($500, $1000, $2500). Would like to see at least 2 more, they wont have a problem getting an overlay or filling.

-Agree on having like a $50 and $100 NLHE event.

reset the time bank after every 8 hours or something

it sucks to go deep and then have no time to think as you play for the big money

If they were going to do 2 a year, they should make one a WCOOPE and do it at optimal European Time like the WSOPE.

Start the limit events shallower, especially the stud and HORSE events. (I think they already made this change for the limit holdem and O8 this year - though I'd prefer shallower still.) The structure for the 5K HORSE is just absurd.

As for one day vs two, do whatever will bring the most fish. I think that's probably one, but do some surveys. It's a lot easier for serious players and pros to commit two days than it is for a random casual player.

More shorthanded events.

Run a smaller tournament series quarterly.

None of this is meant to suggest that WCOOP, as it is now, is anything less than awesome

Very minor quibble: Do a sensible payout on leftover funds in satellites, like 5/3/2, instead of buyin rebates. Right now I'm in an 18-player $125 sat to the $1050 LHE. First pays a seat, 2nd-9th pay $125, 10th pays $38. Over half the field gets paid, only one makes a profit. That's silly.

Why not seat/$519/$312/$207 instead? In addition to making play more meaningful, it means you don't have to go hand-for-hand.

I guess this is more of a general satellite issue than a specific WCOOP issue.

Oh, and when there are two WCOOP events on a single day, SYNCHRONIZE THE BATHROOM BREAKS

This is one of the cooler ideas I've heard. I'm sure most Americans would still play despite the times and it would add another big tourney series to the Stars lineup.
