Default 50BB shot at Party 30/60 6max... advice?

I am taking a 50BB shot. I will be practicing very strict table / seat selection. What are the biggest differences between 30/60 and 20/40 regulars? How about the fish? Any general advice?

Thanks,
Ryan

People read hands a bit better and play a bit more aggressively. But, I think there's relatively little difference between 20/40 and 30/60 as compared with other contiguous limits.

There's less of the 40/5/1.0 type fish, more of the 50/30/2.0 type fish. The game quality is pretty similar to 20/40, but the average ok player at 30/60 is generally a bit tougher.

In position call down with hands like top pair that are clearly best against the super aggro fish who likely have nothing rather than raising them off their bluff. This line has netted me thousands and thousands of dollars.

I already do this at 10/20 through 20/40 and it has worked well for me too.

Yes against alot of players on a good board A high should be taken to showdown at both 20/40 and 30/60.

I personally found 30/60, both 6max and full ring, to be significanly tougher than 20-40. My best advice would be to 1 or maybe 2 table, good TAGs and LAGTAGs are everywhere and they are tougher and very aware of metagame so it's crucial to pay attention at all times. And as you've probably learned from the 10-20+ games be liberal when calling down.

You can also make a lot of money (at T/20) from TAG and LAGs who call down with A-hi.

Sure, but even at 10/20 Ace high is good a sickeningly high amount of time. I probably take it to showdown more than most people, and I rarely feel like it was a mistake.
