Default St. Louis area question

do regulars think there is a big difference in 2/5 NL between Ameristar and Harrah's? if so, what is it?

I used to live in in STL, and although I never played the $2/5 at Ameristar (I preferred to play at Harrah's) I heard a little bit about the game. Harrah's dealers are not allowed to play at their own casino so they had to play at Ameristar or elsewhere. Several of the dealers used to make comments about how much better the $2/5 game at Harrah's was and how they would much rather play in that game if they could. Hope that helps.

I don't think 2/5 runs very often at Ameristar. Don't know for sure though.

MAYBE on a weekend, just stick to Harrah's. I always find Ameristar's poker room dead unless its friday or saturday night.

yeah. played 2/5 at Harrah's for the first time and was happy with the experience. I think the game played well--not too crazy, not too tight. overall my session wasn't great though because 1) I was pressed for time, and 2) I was on a must-move list and had to move tables 3 times, which never allowed me to assess how players were playing, and this was problematic considering they were mostly regulars and I was new.
