I think flop is fine.
Now fold turn given your read. What do you beat? TT? Muck 'em. |

turn is a fold, flop is OK i think, but not sure given 3 handed play and this really changes the way some people play, tough spot

What do we do when the diamond hits, call down?

[ QUOTE ] What do we do when the diamond hits, call down? [/ QUOTE ] i have no idea, i was hoping for some feeback on that situation. which is why im questioning my flop play now. im just totally lost everyewhere wit this hand |

If he has the flush here, does he play so aggressively? I think maybe A9 or something involving the Ad? I min raise and consider calling if he pushes.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm much more worried about a set, two-pair, straight. OP, I really don't see any other way to play it. You hate too many cards on the turn to just check behind on the flop. Then I think you have to call in position, and see what he does on the turn. When he bets you sigh and fold. |

If we hit a diamond on the turn, I'd call a turn bet. I'd fold to a river shove. If he checks turn, VB. If he bets turn and checks river, value shove (on nonpaired board).

Re: JJ - Overpair + flushdraw on a montone flop vs decent player
i dont like the flop call at all; there are basically no cards that can come, except a J, that we really wanna call a decent turn bet with. and i dont think we can expect villian to check the turn after we just call.
i dont might jamming flop edit: typo |
