You guys are giving him waaaay too much credit. There really aren't many players who are on AQ+, 99+ here. Not many at all. Quit looking for reasons to fold.

Call

I may be giving him too much credit, but I'm not far enough off to make this a call. Do you think he's pushing 18% (33+,A5o+,A2s+,KQo,KTs+) here? He needs to be looser than his to make this call +$EV. This doesn't take into account the times you fold, BB calls and is eliminated.

I still stick by my thoughts on folding.

he's pushing far more than 18%...

BB is not calling without a hand, nor are you...

he's pushing far more than 18%...

CO is a solid, winning regular at the $60s and I think a winner at higher levels too.

I don't think so.

my first inclination was to call but this is a pretty good argument. a decent 2nd stack who is nowhere near 1st is not going to be playing a lot of pots. i think this is a fold and hope the bb wakes up with aj (which he will call).

You simply can't use SNGPT this accurately when the stacks are so short.

I'm sticking to my guns that this is a call.

in my opinion, BB's calling range is most important factor here... if you know for sure BB will call, its an obvious fold. If you think BB will call even if you call, its an obvious call... if you think BB will fold either way, i might be more inclined to fold... but if you fold AK, wtf are you waiting for? you only have 3 blinds... if your waiting for some FE by open pushing next hand, your not gonna have much...

with that gibberish said, call.

Yeah I don't really know how to explain it. SNGPT says this is a close fold, but seriously are you behind? No. Are you going to have to win a big pot to money/win? Yes. Is this one of them? Must be.

considering stack sizes, bb isnt calling unless he has an absolute monster because of the allin confrontation that is going to already happen. i wouldnt even consider him a factor.

there's a decent chance you can get itm this hand by folding. if not this hand, maybe down the road. one of the two shorties is going to be a-i first, and it doesn't have to be you.
