Default I think it\'s time for a super super slowplay!

$33 on FTP

History: Villain and I pretty aggressive at the final table with our chip stacks going up and down.

Yes my line looks EXACTLY like what it is, but my thinking is, so what, I have such a huge lock on the hand that the most value I'm getting here is if:
a) he decides to bluff turn/river
b) he hits turn/river and calls a river bet/leads himself for value

Question: Am I 100% right in slowplaying this hand here? I've been debating this with some people.

Thoughts please, thanks!

Yeah also: Sorry about hand conversion, but an important note preflop: He limped for 1200 and I raised to 9600 from the button.

I was just being honest...and don't fret b/c all the good posters will no doubt arrive soon and praise your creativity/hand reading/analytical skills as well as your overall talent as a NLHE player.

only like 1/6 of his stack is in the middle, I don't think you can check that turn. I just don't see what he would continue with besides made sets/straights/flushes all of which are unlikely.

flop check is fine

I'd bet the turn small. Like you would, or he might expect you to, with the part of your pf raising range that doesn't like this flop.

However, I don't think slow-playing is bad in this instance. He's going to put you on largely JJ+, AK after the pre-flop raise. If he catches a set all the money is going in whether you bet or check so you've probably got more chance of getting chips out of him this way. If he had raise-called pf, I think 99+ is more of his range and I would then defintely bet the turn.

What's up with the giant raise PF though OP? Was villain a massive station?

never need to slowplay if you are consistant with your betting patterns anytime you raise...raise less pre and make a c bet...creative would be to check turn if called and come back to life on river...no matter how dry the board looks I usually throw a flop bet out
