Is season 6 of 24 really not worth watching?

Depends how annoyed you get when shows you enjoy have a terrible season/episode etc.

If you don't mind because it's still entertaining enough despite the drop in quality, watch it.

For me, it was pretty annoying and worse than previous seasons, similar plot lines to previous seasons, some lame plot lines and characters, etc. Had some good moments though for sure.

You could certainly get away without watching it though. Read summaries as the guy above said if you plan on doing that.

Based on the feedback here and noticing that wikipedia has a nice summary for the episodes, I think I will be passing on s6. Thanks for all of the input.

Season 6 totally killed my interest in 24. I got about 10-12 episodes into the season and couldn't watch any more. Absolutely [censored] terrible.

I have debated reading the rest of the episode summaries to catch up, but after seeing the preview for Season 7 I am pretty sure I am done with 24.

basically what will happen if you watch season 6 is you'll be like "hmm, i guess season 5 really wasn't that bad"

after a few months though you'll probably just block most of it out from your memory in an attempt to hold on to a slight nostalgic hope that future seasons won't suck

If you're a genuine 24 fan (ie you've watched just about all the seasons so far and haven't been 'disappointed' yet) watch season 6. It's not as good as 1 or 3, but it's still 24 and still very watchable.

I think it would be a lot better on dvd/dvr when you could wade through the crap. first 4 hours are solid and there are a few other scattered good parts. (ie: Jack's solo battle with the terrorists)

Waste of time. Don't watch it.... The greatest twist was (or at leas it was supposed to be) some stupid president from a previous season, whom we didn't give a [censored] about, getting stabbed.....

All season was a huge *yawn*
