[ QUOTE ]
um like right away? That arc was imo the only bad few episodes in the show's run. [/ QUOTE ] I still find it interesting they got Charlize Theron to play that role, she was a pretty big actress then wasn't she? I kept thinking they spent a lot of a shrinking budget to get her, but even watching all the commentary DVDs nobody said if it was an investment to try and get more viewers or what. I know nothing really about how Hollywood/TV works, was them getting Ben Stiller most likely something they spent a good amount of cash on? How possible is it that Stiller liked the show/knew people who made it and did if for cheap? Whenever I see these two characters I can't stop wondering about this crap. |

[after watching Rita walk across the pool] Michael: Gob, was that your trick? Gob: No, Michael, that's not my trick. Narrator: On the next Arrested Development: Gob: [shouts] It's my illusion. [/ QUOTE ] I used to have a bunch of friends over to watch AD. This one had people falling off the couches in laughter. Timing was perfect. Also you'll hear Tobias screaming after he gets lit on fire "Why am I not going under water?!' |

Re: Favorite Arrested Development Moments
Two paraphrased George Michael scenes (not as funny on paper, but when you see the scenes it's hilarious)
Tobias: Maeby, we are ass to ankles in here, why don't you sit on your cousin's lap? [Maeby sits on George Micheal's lap] Michael: Uh-oh, bumpy road ahead! George Micheal: The marijuana was for me. I was going to smoke it, like a cigarette. |

Re: Favorite Arrested Development Moments
I don't know whether they ever mentioned it aloud, but I love that G.O.B. changes the name of his boat to "C-Word."

Re: Favorite Arrested Development Moments
George Michael has some really great scenes that have already been mentioned. I also like the scene where he is reading the notes he wrote to Maeby and Michael comes in and George Michael does this really awkward sprawl across the notes. Not very funny when typed out, but it's hilarious in the episode.
Also, the scene where the traffic camera catches GOB driving away with George Sr. and GOB is holding up the card with Michael's face on it. |

"Steve Holt is a b****** - he doesn't even know who his real father is" [/ QUOTE ] G.O.B.: (On TV.) Steve Holt is a bastard. He doesn’t even know who his real father is. What else don’t we know about Steve Holt? George Michael Bluth is a cool guy. His dad is a powerful executive, working for this man. The girls like him just fine. Young and old, it doesn’t matter... in the dark. Fantastic. |
