I played in the $230 PL Holdem/Omaha/O8 Vic champs event on Tues. (By the way, had Shannon Elizabeth on my left and Gary Benson on my right, lol tableselectionaments). The tourney was a little fun for me, a farce for anyone really serious about it.

Pot Limit was a disaster. None of the dealers and half the players could sum the pot at any time. Split was even worse. One simple hand where a guy got quartered in O8 took about 6/7 minutes - and I'm not exagerrating for the purposes of illustration. Dealer's sitting there shifting chips back and forth across the felt while he grapples with the complexity.

Blinds were 1/2 hour, and in O8 I we were lucky to get in an orbit.

I got moved to another table and had to sit there staring idly into space with 6 other schmoes for a full 7 minutes of the first level after the break while the tourney organisers found more players to fill the table and continue playing.

But hey, that said, I had a bit of fun! (Read: butso after 2 hours)
