River shove is fine. I also think I would have 3bet the turn.

i don't know if you're trying to level but i'll answer seriously anyway. super easy push. you are beat by 77 and 88, and you beat a sh.itload of x7s and x8s. if he he is a thinking player he would push x7 aswell. since you 99,5% don't have an eight.

shoving/raising with the top two card boat is never bad, unless calling would likely obtain more money. folding is not an option, ever.

Looks like you lost to a straight flush there.

Better fold next time.

ok ok i get it. It's just that I wanted insurance:

UTG had 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (four of a kind, Eights) and WON (+$160.93)
Hero had J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a full house, Jacks full of Eights) and LOST (-$162.93)

You are 99.99% on this flop. If he called a flop bet of 2$, he makes an error, even if he hits perfect runner-runner.
