Nooooo. Lead out and bet that flop! Turn is fine. River I am 3 betting. If he hit the straight, go puke and call if he caps.

EDIT: I'm tired as f&$#$E and didn't notice you C/R'd the turn. Just lead out and bet with your big hands sir!

Flop is horrible, and it gets you in a bad place on the turn. A c/r on the turn will blow everyone away, and a donk will only get you a couple calls and no raises usually. Bet the flop and hope someone raises. Then just lean your mouse on the raise button and don't let up until the river.

In my wildest fantasy? An Ace.

Honestly? A overpair or strong kicker.

The problem with soft playing big hands in SSH and MSH games it that most of your villains are passive calling stations. We get value from these hands by value betting the [censored] out of them on every street - this way, the calling stations do what they always do and pay us off...

Now then, if your read on a villain that you are up against is that he is super aggressive, that is a different situation to exploit all together. Generally speaking however, value betting is key.

This isn't like NL where no matter what line you take w/ a monster, you can get it all in whenever and however you want (whether he'll call your AI after some wonky line and a small pot is another issue, of course). In limit, there's only so much money you can possibly win. If you slowplay, you've just given up as much as 1/3 of the money you could possibly hope to win from a hand. Bear that in mind any time you elect to push your call button when holding the nuts. Now, there are some exceptions, but you don't have to worry about that until you're facing players who are actually decent at poker. At these limits, they're largely not.

So indeed we're capping pre-flop here standard with TT?
