Default TT flops set HU. Too aggressive?

PokerStars 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP3 posts a blind of $0.10.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP3 (poster) checks, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, MP3 folds.

Final Pot: 2 BB

Not shying from the fact that I'm still getting the hang of LHE (Still winning! Ha!) but I hate to scare off someone here and I downright don't like it on 3rd street because of the texture. Should I wait until a later street for him to catch up / BBs?

Slowplaying in LHE is usually terrible. Slowplaying when there are 4 to the flop is ridiculously awful. Bet the flop, and raise preflop 100% of the time. That would have probably gotten you callers on the flop, honestly.

There's no way I'm slowplaying my set with 2 hearts on the board and possible straight draws out there. This is standard. Giving your villains free cards to make defeat your set would be a terribly -EV play.

Edit: Beaten by Wookie!

MJ,

It's customary and courteous to not have more than 2 threads on the front page at a time. You might hold off on some until tomorrow. Instead, check out some of the other threads in here and tell us how you'd play them and why. People learn more by trying to figure out a new situation and explaining their thought process (and then getting berated by us for it ) than they do getting spoon-fed answers about situations long past. Also, check out our FAQ.
