meh, i hate folding KK.
Nordic bet, swedish online champ. 2.5 million ggrt.
First lvl 25/50 blinds with both me and villian at approx starting stacks of 10k I find kk utg and raise it to 150, mp1 (no solid read but its been maybe beetween 1-2 orbits and he hasnt really done anything yet, later in tourney a tagread is apparent) makes it 500 to go, all else fold. call or 4-bet? 4-betting makes it easier to play but since i "never" lay down KK for fear of AA my default is for more value out of lower pps when this deep. Here i can tell u we were 2 players at computer with a 50/50 money investment. He likes a 4-bet more cause he wanna "know" if villain got AA. But its a call. Flop 98 2 two spades. lead or what? my plan is to bet call, bet repush unless i really get a reason to think im beat. so i bet 550, a halfpot bet. Villain makes it 1500. i call. Turn 9. pot is 4k i continue with plan A and bet halfpot again. and villain pushes without much thought, not instantly but pretty fast. This is where i start thinking the easy road isnt all bad, while puking my guts out obv, hence the title... My friend really wants to fold and i donīt like to fold as played but gotta agree AA is a likely possibility. what do you think?, is there a way to play this hand with this line and find a fold here? |

Re: meh, i hate folding KK.
QQ will play like this very early on too, IMO. JJ might, just might do this, very player dependent. Seriously doubt I can fold here.
