What are repping with a c-bet/check/bet line that you think will make him fold a pair. Our line looks week and the board sucks I'd give up after flop there

Yeah just check, if he checks a club river I'd take a shot, else I'm not putting in any more money.

id just shut it down. when players know no more threat of betting is coming they will call much more often. so river bluffing has to be set up by prior play. checking turn doesn't do it
