200 NL - TT gets minraised and then LRR
Both Villain are unknowns.
Effective stacks Hero $200 Button $40 UTG + 1 $60 Hero is in CO and is dealt T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG + 1 limps. MP limps. Hero raises to 12. Button minraises to 22. Folded to UTG + 1 who pushes for 60. MP limper folds. It's 48 more to win 160, but am i good 30% of the time? Also, what should my plays be if UTG + 1 doesn't push? If UTG + 1 folds, i think this is an easy push. If UTG + 1 calls, what is my best play? I probably still push. |

Re: 200 NL - TT gets minraised and then LRR
Wow, for $60, I'd be tempted to race here, though I don't know if you are getting 30% equity. Vs an OverPair you're 4 to 1 dog. Vs 1 OverPair and 2 overcards, you're way behind. This is a worst case scenario though.
Probably a standard fold though, sick as it seems. |

I was playing around with PokerStove and figure what type of hands give me the 30% equity that i need to call. versus overpair (hand 2 doesn't matter) ~20% equity versus 2 overcards (both have AK) - ~65% equity versus 3 overcards (AK and AQ) - ~45% equity versus 4 overcards (AK and QJ) - ~30% equity versus 2 underpairs - ~65% equity Hmm, i ended up folding, but looking at my analysis, i don't think a call would have been terrible. It boils down tohow often one of them has an overpair. UTG + 1 line look like a trap and i think that made this an easy fold. |
