Default Win XP Error

Team,

After http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...=0#Post12285838 I've got a hard disk that I'm wanting to install into my machine.

When I'm trying to install Windows XP, I get this error: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/293077

To resolve this issue: 1. Disable all third-party filter drivers, such as backup programs, virus scanning programs, and disk utilities.
2. Make sure that you are using hardware that appears on the Windows Hardware Compatibility List (HCL). To view the latest Windows HCL, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx (http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx)

1) I have no programs or anythign loaded - I've just partitioned the disk.

2) The hard disk has previously had Win XP on it, so I can't imagine how this is a problem.

I've tried this with two different hard disks and had the same problem with both of them.
