Perhaps they'll move on Lemar Marshall, who was just cut by the Redskins.

Gaither I'm guessing. They didn't drop Trotter to pick up another vet.

Remember when the Eagles defense was actually good?

Gaither is significantly smaller than Trotter. I see that as a bit of a problem in the run game, especially when the defensive line hasn't shown that they can stop the run.

As for Andrews, there was speculation over the weekend that because he mentioned using a bone stimulator a possible diagnosis was osteonecrosis, but Andy Reid and Andrews agent have both denied that. We'll see when the regular season rolls around.

Yup, he's lost a step, as he'll admit.

The Eagles aren't going to pay a bench player 2.1 million a year, and at this point with Jim Johnson's system, that's what he'd be relegated to.

This defense is counting on so many young and unproven players this year, hopefully all of them pan out, or at least a couple of them.
