Default 10NL: AA facing big flop c/r

I am only a few Orbits in. Villain seems passive, but definately overvalues his hands.

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $7.90
BB: $8.53
Hero (UTG): $10.05
MP: $10.68
CO: $4.47
BTN: $6.07

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $0.40, 4 folds, BB calls $0.30

Flop: ($0.95) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.80, BB raises to $5.00, Hero?

passiv + overvalue ? How does this fit.

I dont like this spot lol, but what range do you put him on ?
Was he tight preflop, or is T8 T7 96 9J in his range for 3BB ?
TT 88 77 is defnitily in his range. And I can image even J9s by a more or less tight player.

What hand would play so that we beat (other then bluffs)
I guess there are only two hand-categoriz he could have.
A stong made hand that want to protect versus all this draws
or a semi-strong hand with a draw.

1. straight - set/twopair or AT + JJ to AA (JJ to AA seems very unlikly cuz pre call and his C/R, if he is passive you almost allways can outrule this hands)
Same for AT, the precall would be okay, but a C/R with such a hand from a PASSIVE player unlikly, not impossible tough.
J9 seems very possible here, preflop call, he hits the nutstraight, want some value, use your c/bet to build a pot, and totally overbet b/c he is afraid of the flushdraw outthere.

2. A made hand + some kind of draw
Axspades (As8x seems likly) J8spades and other...

I cant finde that many hands that will play this way that are not ahead / or have quite a strong draw.

I'm a pussy, I let this one go ...
(and take a note whatever he shows me / kick my pc if he had KTo)

That was poorly worded. I meant that he makes thin value bets but rarely raises or bluffs. He bet into me on xxA3J with 83 on the river and QJ was good.
This read is almost useless anyway as that was like 20 hands in.

He was pretty loose so these hands are definitly in his range.

His big raise made me suspicious. It seemed like a weak made hand like AT or a combo hand like T9 or As8s.
Also I think he could play JJ-KK this way. People at this level love to play big pairs slow pf.

I don't know, he is either taking a shot because your AK wiffed and you c-bet (advanced move), he flopped a monster and didn't want to lead but is afraid of AK of spades (sorta advanced move), or he has a monster draw and thinks with his hand equity and the fold equity that this move is +EV (sorta advanced move). Either way, I see a decent play being thrown at me with only an overpair and no draw, I fold, make a note on the play, and keep my eye on him.

The only way I can put "Passive + Overvalue" together, is that he calls down many weak hands like midpairs, or 77 on a T42JA board.

If this is true, his bet means even more strenght

It seems like a really bad call in retrospect. I'm never ahead of his range, and only have the odds to call if he does this with hands like AT or JJ:
Code:

Board: Ts 8c 7s
