Laptop Advantages
Laptops are generally a little slower, but are mobile and convenient. For some people, it's difficult to replicate the settings on your laptop and desktop, which results in having different things on each(Internet favorites, saved passwords...)
Also, Poker software is generally a huge resource taker, and on a laptop which almost always has less I/O(input/out) capabilities than a desktop, poker programs will run slower. As far as multi monitor setups, I run my 17" laptop screen, and 2 21" flats and I have no problem, also with one of those flats running on a USB:VGA coverter. My laptop Specs: 3.6 ghz processor 2 gig of ram 80 gig hard drive Radeo 128 meg video card. With these specs, I have no problem multitabling. Other than the redraw rate on the monitor running the USB:VGA adapter, everything runs plenty fast. -Nick |

Re: Laptop Advantages
I ahve been a student for the past 4 years and I am constantly moving apartments and travelling a lot - I jsut find a laptop much more convenient for this. Also, I could take it to uni- I would like to buy a desktop once I become more settled though.
