Never sure how to play these hands
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) [url=http://poker- (Format: 2+2 Forums)
SB ($392.80) BB ($400) UTG ($467.80) Hero ($808.68) Button ($368.90) Preflop: Hero is MP with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2. 1 fold, Hero raises to $15, Button calls $15, 1 fold, BB calls $11. Flop: ($47) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets $35, Button raises to $80, BB folds, Hero folds. Final Pot: $162 I always have a problem deciding to bet the flop when it comes paired. It makes matters worse when 2 spades are out and i just get a call or whatever. I usually tighten up and dont want to fire that 2nd shell. Anyone have any tips on how to handle these situations? |

Re: Never sure how to play these hands
I bet <1/2 pot on these flops. I feel that this does the same thing as 2/3 psb. Folding to any resistance from villains who got position on you ofc.
If I get called on the flop, I usually fire a 2/3 psb on the turn. Again back off to any kind of heat. |

Re: Never sure how to play these hands
I guess your line works fine at 400NL. Vs good players you will be owned though. Once they notice that you fold 60% of yoru hands (and you do if you cbet always and got away from 1010 on that board) they will never fold and you will never win a pot.
