Online poker is a ghost of what it could be and once was. When Party Poker raised the rake in the 6 max from 2-3 and increased the number of 6 max tables, that produced an extra $250,000 per day in extra rake. Didn't that hurt the games just a bit?? The rake killed online period.

ok, here comes the name calling part. of course the games aren't that small in the casino. in the casino, the live ones have to play bigger and you get a shot at that money. NOW, half of the live ones at least play in games that nobody can beat because of the rake.

If only there were a way of getting some of this rake back, then maybe it wouldn't be killing the games.

The rake is capped at 1/20 of a big blind at my stakes. That ain't bad. Maybe you just need to move up in higher stakes. The rake stays pretty much the same, so it becomes less on a percentage basis. So if you're winning, you can win more!
