When I first saw the commercials for Carpoolers, I thought it was going to be something similar to Office Space, with some of the drama taking place in the car.

Then in the first episode we learn these guys work in the same building but diff companies/offices? And there is apparently an underground carpooling group of people(the rich ones, the old ones..?) I guess I just didn't get it. It wasn't what I expected, and then wasn't funny with what it was.

Cavemen was just retarded.

im a tv whore and can enjoy almost anything. i watch everything from the hills and rock of love to nbc thursdays to heroes and friday night lights.

i cannot remember the last time i hated a show so much as cavemen...and i didnt even go in with any expectation. the only reason it may survive is tuesday tv is horrible (imo). its my night off from tv (although i do dvr wsop).

carpoolers i just watched online while playing and i can see myself doing it again but i wont bother to waste dvr space. the characters didnt seem very interesting or deep, but if its good for a laugh or two i can see it surviving. only problem is if cavemen loses its ratings (it should) the following :30 show tends to suffer greatly.

but definitely a very weak attempt at sitcoms by abc.

Watched full eps of them today.

Caveman was better than expected. Nothing to do with the Caveman bit, just that one of the characters (classes dude with the pony tail) was hilarious. I would give this a second chance. A lot of the bigger jokes were forced, but the dialog had some high spots that made me think there's some sharpness there. I think it's biggest failing is simply that the parts of it that work best have nothing to do with guys in funny makeup, and the Caveman bit simply pulls you away from the other aspects of the show, which weren't all bad.

Carpoolers was just a boring basic sitcom. The most engaging character was the son, and he was painfully derivative of stuff we've all seen before. There is just nothing new here in the least. It's not really bad, it's just bringing nothing to the table whatsoever.

Cavemen wasn't that bad. I mean, it was BAD, but not like OMG WORST SHOW IN HISTORY bad. The problem wasn't that there were a lot of lame jokes falling flat on their faces, there just weren't enough jokes of any kind.

i've heard people like em. i was just my opinion, maaaaannnnnn. but even if there are just 2 shows, thats a pretty weak night nonetheless. when u look at mondays and thursdays and see how friggin loaded they are, you realize how bad tuesdays are. in my eyes, wednesday falls in between.

i really dont understand why networks dont move some shows to help them survive as opposed to going up against a top 10 show (house is one, however...so that could be a reason why tuesdays are weak but its really the other way around i think)

Why not just buy the rights to Phil Hartman's old "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer" skits from SNL and show those?

And have they introduced Tina yet? I want to know if they got back together or not. Or did they just ditch that story?
