Default Sunday Mill final 2 tables what to do?

I had been on this guys left for a couple hours and had come over the top of his raises when he opened the pot and i would win preflop or on the flop with a cbet. HE has been very aggro and opening a lot. My image is LAG. Is calling here knowing hes shoving a wide range spewy or a good spot to get some chips?

A5o is rarely good enough to call much with (but not bad to open with at this point).

He's short, he's on the button, but $EV and CEV start divirging around now, and you only have 20BB's so you have to factor calling and losing into the equation and its effects on $EV.

I like a fold, you don't have enough chips to call this.

If he had less and you had more.. maybe, but not here.

woodguy is spot on. esp since final 2 table bubble. Id prob call A9s, AJ+, and like 88+ off the top of my head.

i think your hand is a bit too weak...

calling off here also cripples your own FE in the near future if you lose. I agree w/ woodguys range too.

He's shoving 7.5bb on the button w/antes? I'd call with any ace here against an aggro player.

Easy call.

Sometimes nitty players tighten up in big tournament like this, and make their pushing range small, but any good player in his spot should be pushing something like 22+,A2+,K5s+,K7o+,Q7s+,Q9o+,J9s+,JTo,T9s,98s,87s,7 6s. Even a wider range is +cEV.

Your A5o is ahead of this range.

thanks for the input guys...well I called and he turned over J9o with the 9 of clubs and won on the riv with 4 clubs on the board.

I understand what woodguy is saying about $EV and cEV diverging here for this situation in this tourney...but I think in a $50-$100 freezeout I would call an aggro player and not think twice about it.

It's not about "Oh, this guy is super aggro and pushes all the time, I have an A so I'm ahead for sure and I'll call." A5s is only like 60/40 fave at best. Even against lower Ax you're prolly gonna chop. Sure you had the best hand pre, but that's why he pushed with J9, because he knows you'll call him Ax and he'd like to have very live cards. I need A8s or better to call in that spot, main because there's more of a chance I'll have him dominated as opposed to just barely ahead.
