I would say it comes off kind of lame, but who cares? Just try to minimize the lameness. I live in Virginia Beach so there's a ton of resturants with great ocean views and views of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, so just going somewhere with a nice view might minimize lameness. Or you can go somewhere that has a bar and just sit there, but I guess that's not the type of resturant you have in mind.

If all else fails, just remember that you're in your 20's and have made gazillions so you have the right to dine alone if necessary.

I've had some really nice meals by myself, and I'm an extremely extroverted person. If the food's worth your attention, there's nothing wrong with sitting and ignoring the people around you and focusing on the food. Sometimes having no people around you is the best way to do that.

I'd have problems eating bad food by myself, but that shouldn't be a problem in Vegas.

It always shocks me how conditioned people are against doing things by themselves.

Eat at the bar, if you're really self-conscious. But I don't think there's anything "wrong" at all, eating out by yourself. I do tend to eat at the bar when I do this, but I love it ...

not lame at all. bring a book, a magazine, a newspaper, or just your own thoughts. i've done it tons of times and enjoyed myself pretty much every time. although if you're in vegas right now and cant find someone to hang out with, that's quite a different story. extremely lame.

pure.. isn't that a nightclub?

i don't really care personally about eating alone, i'm not self-conscious at all. i was just curious if it is seen as very weird or just like "oh, look that guy is alone" or what. i have eaten alone before but just wondering if it was any different in a nicer place.

went to the aladdin buffet alone (might not be your definition of nice, but whatever) .. was a pretty meh experience. Basically just went in, ate somewhat fast, then left right after.
