Default Grading the Mil/FL total last night??/

5dimes graded the over 8 1/2 as a loss even though the game was suspended at 2-2. This is the first game I've ever had with an online book suspended as a tie in extra innings. I was under the impression that this would be treated as a no bet. How are other books treating it?

I bet the over at Bodog and it was graded as a loss. However, according to the new rule this year the game will resume in the 11th inning tonight and be played out before the start of the regularly scheduled game. So technically the game could still go over. I assume if it does there will be mass chaos in the sports betting world.

Yes. The game was not a 'tie'.
The game isn't even over yet so I'm not sure how it could be graded yet.

Did they just call it a push if you took a side on MIL or FLA?
I would sure hope not.

Bad terminology on my part. I realize that the game will be finished and didn't end. I should have said 'suspended with the score tied at 2-2', rather suspended as a tie at 2-2. Also, most sports books grade a totals bet as no action if the game doesn't finish on the same day it started, that is why I was surprised at the result.

For anyone interested, I contacted 5 dimes and they said since 9 innings were in the books, then the game was a complete one for betting purposes. I also had Fielder vs. Jacobs total bases and they graded that one as a win at the point the game was suspended. I didn't have a side, so I can't address that question.

Did you guys with a side get graded or was it a no bet?

tippy most books graded this as a loss. Why do you assume most books no actioned this?

WSEX
Matchbook
Pinny and Bookmaker/BetCris graded this as a loss. Per Vegas Rules which most sites follow in some manner.

MLs where graded as no action while RLs were graded as a W or a L.

I'm just used to betting with a local I guess. This is my first year using an online book. My guy always graded as a push any total that wasn't complete the same day as the game started. I think I just lumped in an extra inning suspension with a rain out that went less than 9 but more than 4 1/2. I just assumed that the extra inning total bet would be treated like a game that went say 6 innings, which would be no action.

You know what they say when you assume...
