That's player dependent. If you want a default, you really need to figure that out yourself by thinking about how games generally play on the site you are at and so on.

Oh yea I know that, I was just trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong with the overcall ranges of the other players, if it has me pushing only TT+/AQ+ there's definitely something wrong, just not sure what it is.

By comparison when I input the same hand into the Nash ICM Calc it has me pushing much wider here.

You have to be giving it different inputs to get different outputs. Are the calling and overcalling ranges the same? Are the $EV_push and $EV_fold values both different, or just one?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmm, I think I might see where I'm messing up now.

Our EV push values were 25.29/25.21 but our fold values were what was way off.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you expand the "Hero Fold" branch, I suspect you guys have different push/call ranges for the action behind. You probably also have different overcalling ranges, but since an overcall if you push and are called is much less likely than a push and call behind if you fold, it changes the result less.

Heh last question I swear, is there any way you could open up SNGWizard and input the same hand I mentioned in the OP and tell me what push range it gives you?

I appreciate the help though, won't clutter up the forum with these kinds of threads anymore.

I tried registering for the SNGwiz forum but the link in the email to activate my account doesn't work naturally. Yes I'm very bad at life.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea - happened to me also - there is another place you can register but I can not think where it is. Look around the buying area on the site.

1. You have almost 8 big blinds, so you are not desperate. Stealing the blinds does not increase your equity significantly.
2. You are pushing into 3 opponents. There is a significant chance you will get called.
3. Opponent stacks are almost equal so losing a showdown is a disaster.
4. Folding actually increases your equity due to the chance that somebody else will get eliminated.

Taking all these factors into account, I think you have to play pretty tight here. That said, pushing 99 is +$EV. The Wizard recommends a fold because it is slightly less than the default edge.

Registering the software and registering to post on the sngwiz.com forums are two different things. To register the software, select “Register” on the Wizard’s help menu.

I am not sure what you are asking. Can you be more specific?

SNGWiz-Man and others,

I've been demo-ing the software and think it is very helpful. Love the quiz feature.

But... When I review games, several problems occur.

1) Previous action not imported properly (i.e. UTG folds when he actually raised or called).

2) Alert! You should have pushed! (Well I did push but SNGWiz says I folded.)

3) No alert on the main page but if you open up the hand, a different play is recommended.

I would LOVE to buy this software but it is time consuming and aggravating to have to keep cross referencing with PokerTracker to confirm the action.

Have any other players experienced glitches?

Never, really? It seems like they would be close once in a while just by accident. Are they generally too tight, too loose, or both?
