Default AA Who was the donk?

I can't figure if I played wrong, or he was calling station. I don't have PT so I had no stats. I put him on AK or KQ. Maybe I should of shoved on flop? Called pf for value. I seem to lose hands like this often. I can't decide if I'm still that bad or if it's the level. Everyone seems to love having short stacks and either push or fold.

Raise preflop!

People at 2nl dont like raising so much and you will have alot of people on the flop if you dont raise preflop. You want it heads up.

You have 50BBs at a $2 game. AA should be getting all in pretty much every time.

Raise pf, limping with AA for value is so wrong!
Bet flop, turn and river.

I see a lot of posts where people are talking moving all in or making certain plays based on #BB's. Is there a link where there is some in depth discussion of the concepts behind his?

Thanks

Ok thanks all. I know I'm a bit passive yet and I need to work on that. I kept betting pot and he kept calling. It turned out he had Q-9 and caught gutshot on river.
