Default BIGGEST POT EVER BLIND WAR

I feel like all-caps titles get a lot of responses. Ok anyways.

Effective Stack 1051.00 6 handed NL600

Folded to hero in the sb, who raises to 20 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Villian calls in the bb.

Villian seems like a decent player. His name is Drunkpplaya er something to that extent. He's not that tight...definitely willing to make some moves.

Flop-- A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets 35, Villian calls.

Turn-- 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, Villian bets 80, Hero raises to 275, Villian pushes and its around 700 for Hero to call. Hero??

A3/43/56 all seem like possibilities...i'm leaning towards a fold, but i think in the actual game i'd close my eyes and call.

56 almost always. Not many players are 3betting a turn screwplay as a bluff, especially at these stakes.

56 or a set both seem like very possible holdings for him. I have a hard time seeing something like 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]X[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or Ace-good kicker (note that many people just smooth call these PF) doing this.

I think this should be folded absent of a really strong read. But maybe I'm a pussy.

I don't think you can beat him.
I'd probably fold here.

You're probably beat, but you should consider your image at the table also. Step it up a level and think about what villain thinks that you could have. Have you been bossing the table? Constantly attacking the blinds? In certain situations this might swing the balance...

In actual game, I call because I think "This is a blind battle, he can't have anything." Unfortunately he always does have me beat.

I call, although I think it's close. You do often see a straight here, and sometimes a set, but I really think villain has weaker two pair and/or a big draw often enough to justify a call. You are getting 2:1 after all.

Default One more quick question

This is what lead me to my decision. I'll post results soon.

In my range for what I thought Villian might put me on, I threw AK and AQ in there. If you're Villian, how often do you put me on an ace with a good kicker when I c/r the turn?

I really don't know how vilian viewed me. Since I'm still getting used to NL600, sometimes I play pretty passive. This is why I c/r...I want to exploit the people who try to push me around.
